GREETINGS FROM NEW YORK CITY

You may never have been here before, but if you first walk in and it feels familiar, it is. Welcome back. That's how I felt when I first walked into Gleason's Gym on a Saturday morning in 1981 and it never left me. That led me to the Gramercy Gym which pretty much laid out the groundwork for the life that was to follow. Along the way I met some of the greatest people life had to offer. The greatest boxing gyms are really churches, schools and social clubs in disguise, you just don't have to be pious, studious or sociable to join. For me, I was fortunate to have belonged to two of The Greatest - Gleason's and the Gramercy. I opened Trinity to give people the same mystical experience that those two places afforded me.
